Happy 8 years of marriage, Joshua! I’ve really, really been looking forward to our anniversary this year. For months now, we’ve been answering “almost 8 years” when someone asks us how long we’ve been married. Every anniversary is special; each one another blessed year to be celebrated. But there was something about this 8th anniversary that had me truly anticipating it & looking forward to it. We didn’t have any grand travel plans or even plans for a date night scheduled. I feel, though, that we’re even closer now than we’ve ever been & that our marriage is growing & developing in the most beautifully profound way. Our wedding anniversary always falling just a few days before a holiday that is all about gratefulness feels perfect because we truly do have so much to be grateful for in our marriage.
Thank you for making me laugh at least once a day.
Thank you for being THE BEST dad to our adorable kids! You have such grace & patience & I love the goofy, kindhearted, fun-loving spirit you bring to our marriage & to our children’s lives. 
Thank you for your loyalty & devotion to me. I never doubt your faithfulness & I am so grateful that I can trust you wholeheartedly.
