Nicole & Vincent are married! And they celebrated the occasion this past Saturday surrounded by family members and friends who are all-in to support them along their marriage journey. Their wedding ceremony was beautiful and personal and we LOVE that they value and prioritized that portion of their wedding day so highly; after all, the marriage is THE reason for the wedding day! We love these two & their adorable fur-child Nala who got to be part of the wedding day, too! And rightly so. . . she did help Vincent propose and was in the engagement photos so how could she not be in the wedding photos?! She’s precious. And Nicole looked like an absolute princess on her wedding day; she glowed with joy & smiled ALL day. Everyone around her was uplifted & encouraged in the most beautiful way. We could see people leaving conversations with her all day with a huge smile on their faces & joy in their hearts. She’s like that all of the time, though, so that wasn’t a surprise. Vincent was slightly nervous about the wedding ceremony, but after their First Look, all of his jitters vanished & he was so excited to marry the love of his life. We are happy to get to share our favorite images with you today & it was really difficult to narrow them down! Congratulations to Nicole & Vincent! Nicole got her wedding gown at Henri’s Bridal in Minerva. It was breathtaking on her. Roots Salon was responsible for gorgeous bridal hair and makeup on the wedding day. Bianca (the owner of the salon) & Amanda are lovely humans and really fun to hang out with on wedding days.Josh was with Vincent & the guys as they got ready for the day. They all got ready at the Embassy Suites, which is also where the reception was held.As soon as I took this candid photo, I gasped & had to show the back of my camera to Bianca because OH MY GOODNESS. The beauty radiating from Nicole is otherworldly. This group of girls- Nicole’s Ride or Dies- are amazing women. They’re funny and smart and beautiful. I loved hanging out with them.I’m convinced this dress was made for Nicole and Nicole alone. All of the bridal vibes, right?!Nicole said after their First Look that she felt SO ready to walk down the aisle. All of the nervousness disappeared when she saw her groom.Since we’re usually in the Youngstown area for weddings, this was our first time in St. Paul’s in Canton, and it was beautiful. When we got to the McKinley Monument the parking lot was closed, but this bride, groom, and bridal party were absolute troopers and traipsed up the hill happily. These types of candids always get me in the feels for some reason. Because I’m a sap? Probably! The aforementioned Nala appearance: magical. What a great looking and fun group! Now is the time I need to mention the florist because those bouquets are AMAZING! Plus, she’s super sweet & cute. Check her out on Instagram- Petersburg Petals. Most beautiful smiles award right here. The sweetest sisters! And then it was time for some bride & groom portraits with this classic and elegant couple. Timeless. They both agreed that this door is gorgeous so we took some pretty photos with it as a backdrop. Not that the backdrop even matters when you’re as joyful, beautiful, and in love as Nicole & Vince! We could’ve taken their portraits at a garbage dump and they would’ve made it look great lol.Seriously, this is beyond stunning. We love the quiet romance and peacefulness these newlyweds share. Huge wall hanging I’m thinking with this one!It was pretty windy (thankfully; it would’ve been really hot if not) and Nicole rocked that wind-swept look so well. The Embassy Suites banquet room looked warm and inviting in golds and greenery. The chairs were specially ordered through Wedding Chairs dot net. The cake was courtesy of West Side Bakery in Akron. We have a really good feeling these two will always remember the 21st night of September!Nicole’s grandparents won the anniversary dance for being the longest married couple and they’re adorable. We LOVE the anniversary dance tradition because it honors marriage and brings attention to and celebrates longevity and perseverance and choosing love. Then Nicole and her grandpa shared a special dance to You Are My Sunshine and that was the third time that day that tears were streaming down my face.Their family members and friends came ready to celebrate and the night was a blast.Vince even busted out a couple of moves. And a sparkler sendoff for the newlyweds headed to Hawaii on their honeymoon was just the right way to end such a happy day!Nicole & Vincent, we are so grateful to know you and to have had the opportunity to preserve these wedding day memories for you and for the generations to come! We loved your wedding day & can’t wait to see what joys and beauty marriage will bring to your lives. Thank you for choosing us & trusting us!
If you’re new to our blog, hello & welcome! We’re Josh & Danielle, a husband and wife wedding photography team in Ohio. We can’t imagine just showing up to a wedding day and snapping photos; we love getting to know our couples, their stories, and what makes them unique. We want each couple whose wedding we photograph to be able to look back on their images decades later and remember how they felt in those authentic moments. We’ve been married since 2010, we have two beautiful blessings who call us mommy and daddy (a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old son), and we love being outside and exploring new places together.
