Christy & Eric are married! Their wedding day was so much fun from beginning to end & they are extremely overjoyed to be married; we’re so happy we got to document this day for their family’s legacy & for their future grandchildren to enjoy! Their ceremony at St. Charles was the start to their journey & it was beautiful with the sunshine streaming through the stained glass windows (on a day for which the weather forecast had previously been very unfavorable, but turned out to be GORGEOUS!) and their wedding reception at The Lake Club was definitely a party. We’re pretty sure every single person there was on the dance floor at some point! And we’re also pretty sure Christy & Eric never left the dance floor! Everything about this wedding day was wonderful & we had a blast photographing it! I will try to refrain from ooooohing and ahhhhing over Christy’s dress throughout this entire blog post. To keep that to a minimum, I just have to say WOW! THIS DRESS IS EVERYTHING & WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR CHRISTY & JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE IT IN ACTION ON THE DANCE FLOOR! Okay, now that I got that off my chest, I think I’ll be okay. No promises, though. And, sorry for yelling. haha.Christy has a degree from FIT & is in the fashion world for her career so naturally she’d have amazing taste! I thought this was so darn cute. Big sister doing little sister’s makeup. These shirts! Ha! Too good! Prettiest bride! Eric was a dashing groom & all smiles. The flower girls were giving one of the bridesmaids (Eric’s sister) a little pre-wedding arm massage haha. They were too cute. And then the woman of Eric’s dreams walked in on her dad’s arm.And I don’t know what he was thinking, but I’m sure the word, “WOW” was in there somewhere.Such a beautiful & joyful couple! Congratulations! After some family formal photos at the church, we headed to The Lake Club for some bridal party portraits and some bride & groom portraits. We love photographing wedding receptions at The Lake Club for so many reasons, but it’s definitely one of the reception venues that has beautiful locations for portraits! Unless you really want to, there is no need to go anywhere else! This was a gorgeous bridal party & they had us cracking up all day! Josh even texted me while he was with the guys before the ceremony that they were really funny.#realrondinellimen Don’t you love these cheery colors?! So much summery fun! We are so, so, so happy for these two! They met in college & their lives took them in opposite directions many different times since then. Eric served our country overseas & Christy was in NYC for school at FIT & then got a job in New York while Eric was in Arizona. Now that they’re married, they’re going to be together. . . not only in the same country & state FINALLY, but in the same home. That has to be an amazing feeling! And they surely have so much love for one another having been through so long a time of long distance dating. These happy smiles say it all.We told them they look like they stepped out of a bridal magazine. Christy is beautiful inside & out & so adored by her family members & friends. And she has some killer dance moves. Oh, and shout out to Panache for her classic updo.C&C Ribbon did a beautiful job with wedding day flowers.White House Fruit Farm donuts were the guest-loved favor. And the Fallen Solider Table was really meaningful & moving. One of Eric’s groomsmen read the poem to open the reception before the toasts & Eric asked all of the guests to come check it out at some point in the evening.Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana did SUCH a fab job with this wedding cake! Unique, yes? Then it was time for the New Captain & Mrs. to be introduced & for the PARTY to turn up.Her ballgown on the dance floor was downright amazing! Eric & his mom- so adorable! Christy & her dad had a blast with their father-daughter dance. Then the night got crazy & everyone danced. Once the dance floor opened, it was go time! This may be my favorite shot we’ve ever taken of a bride dancing. This was such an awesome, beautiful, joyful, and FUN wedding celebration & we are so very happy for these two to start their married life together in Washington! We wish you two nothing but love, laughter, joy, and a lifetime of adventure together. Congratulations! Thank you for choosing us to photograph your day! If you’re new to our blog, hello! We’re Josh & Danielle, a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Columbiana, Ohio. Most of the weddings we photograph are in the Youngstown, Ohio area, but we also love to travel to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, West Virginia, and the beach to photograph weddings! We have a 3 year old daughter and a 1 1/2 year old son who light up our world & provide us with daily laughs (and, let’s be real, some frustrations haha). They are so beautiful, though, and we’re not biased at all. We also have two incredibly stinky and chubby pugs named Norris & Punky.
