Brittany & Steve, where can we even start? Your wedding day was so full of laughs, but knowing you two & your goofy & joke-loving nature as a couple, we wouldn’t have expected anything else. You two are so laid back, fun, and joyful together & it was an absolute pleasure to celebrate the day & photograph your beautiful love. Thank you both again so much for choosing us as your wedding photographers! And to any new blog readers out there, hello! We hope you enjoy the photos & our account of the first lovely day of Brittany & Steve’s forever together! If you caught Britt & Steve’s engagement session blog, then you know their enthusiasm for great sneakers. So, of course, they went above & beyond for their wedding day with some customized wedding day Jordans. These were hand painted. . . and those donuts tie in with their theme, too. So cute!
Beautiful! The lace bodice & sparkly belt on her dress were gorgeous! And she had a piece from her grandmother’s favorite sweater in the shape of a heart sewn onto her wedding gown. And her aunt made her veil. This piece of the veil came from her aunt’s wedding gown. All of these special details added an extra layer of personality & sentiment to the wedding day!And these were Steve’s wedding day details. Two of Britt’s work friends helped with hair & makeup. The timeline of the day made it all laid back and stress-free.
Brittany is a sweet & kind-hearted person & she is always thinking of others. She is going to be an amazing wife!Josh was with Steve as he got ready for the day. Steve is such a goofball & makes everyone around him laugh.Once they were both ready, it was time for the first look by Poland Village Hall. Brittany likes the gazebo there & it was a great spot for the big moment they saw each other on their wedding day! They are so darn sweet together. They’re definitely a couple we could hang out with anytime. They’re fun & full of smiles.Britt got her bouquet from C & C Ribbon. She said she loved working with the florist there. Her joy is beautiful. These two love to photo bomb each other. ha! And their Maid of Honor & Best Man joined us for the fun & laughs! They were a hoot.Their wedding ceremony was officiated by Steve’s brother, which was very special & sweet. And I loved Steve’s reaction to seeing Brittany walk toward him down the aisle. Even though they had seen each other already during the first look, he still teared up.After the ceremony & family photos, we had time for some more bridal party & bride & groom portraits outside at Boardman Park. The weather was perfect for late April & we were all so glad the frigid temps of Winter seem to have finally abated.
Their reception was the first one we’ve ever photographed at the Magic Tree in Boardman. It was great for their 90 or so guests & everyone was happy to see White House Fruit Farm donuts on display & for dessert! This is definitely one of the most unique card boxes we’ve EVER seen! Britt’s step-mom said it weighed 15 pounds! Lots of fun was had at their reception & Damon from D & R Audio spun the jams & kept everyone on the dance floor! We seriously LOVED this wedding day! It was a blast & we’re really thankful we got to be part of the fun! Stay tuned for another wedding on the blog tomorrow! We had a busy weekend with two amazing couples & another beautiful wedding will be ready for your viewing pleasure tomorrow!
