We have had quite a few chilly engagement sessions these past few months. Winter in Ohio can be so unpredictable & it is unusual for us to have so many engagement sessions during the cold months, but we’re glad we did have them because they have been so much fun & so beautiful! We always say that the weather & the scenery & the location do not matter much in comparison to the two in love & joyful people in front of the camera! Jennifer & Jason & their contagious happiness were the focus of this engagement session in Youngstown & we all had a fabulous time shooting all around town & at a couple of spots we’ve never been to before. Jason showed us the new places & they were great!
They both looked amazing & their outfits were the perfect complement to one another’s & to their smiles.
Don’t let that sunshine fool you! It looks warm, but they (mostly Jennifer) were shivering. Thankfully, those chilly days are the perfect days for snuggling close!
Jennifer’s eyes are like whoa! We’re sure that’s one of the things that attracted Jason to her during their first date. We got to hear that story & the fun & inside jokes behind why they ended up at the Quaker Steak & Lube parking lot for Jason’s proposal even though that wasn’t his initial plan. That’s definitely one of our favorite parts of being wedding photographers! We love getting to know our couples & their unique stories & quirkiness together. One of our favorite things that Jason & Jennifer said about each other was that they love doing new things together & experiencing fun date activities, but mostly they just enjoy doing life together even if that’s running errands or cuddling up on the couch. Life is beautiful with a partner you love by your side!
Even though most of the leaves were kaput before we photographed this engagement session, Jennifer seemed to have found the ONE spot still with leaves in Youngstown. It was amazing with the glowing golden sunlight shining through!
They are the sweetest & most romantic together! 
This made us even more excited for their wedding this summer!
We’re so glad they finally decided to talk to each other! They were both part of similar social circles in the area with various groups that they belong to & they finally made their way to one another. It seems to have worked out quite well. 🙂
This was the spot Jason showed us to get the Youngstown skyline. He knows all the nooks and crannies since he works for WKBN.
This was something fun they wanted to do since their baseball teams are rivals.
If you’ve spent any time with these two, you have probably noticed that they smile & laugh a lot & that Jason makes Jennifer laugh like only a woman in love can laugh. They are an inspiring couple!
