Karly & Chris got engaged in March 2019 and basically planned their wedding within a week. . . while they were still on their vacation at the beach. How awesome are they?! But seriously. . . they’re getting married in a few weeks and we cannot wait for the celebration and are stoked we get to be the ones to take the photos! These are two amazing individuals who come together to make an unstoppable couple. And we’re so happy they’re getting married! They met online and Karly jokes (but is also serious) that their first date was at a shopping mall so she could check to make sure he wasn’t a creepy stalker or weirdo. Thankfully he was not & they hit it off right away. They both have great senses of humor, both have huge hearts for animals (German Shepherds especially), and are both high achievers in their careers but also family-oriented, too. They’re definitely made for each other. We were extremely impressed with how well trained and well behaved their crew of dogs is! We had absolutely no trouble at all getting all five of them to sit and smile for photos! 
And I love their bandanas. They all looked so cute!

The light that evening was perfect! And the woods behind their house made for a great backdrop.
They laugh together so much & it was really fun hanging out with them for their engagement session! This wedding day is going to be the best!
Chris is all about protecting and serving. We love these shots with his uniform and her pretty dress! 
And, of course, we had to include Nero, Chris’ K9 partner.
We headed over to Thompson Park for a few more photos & for lots more laughs.
