We finally got the honor of photographing a surprise proposal & it was everything we ever imagined it would be! When Tyler contacted us about scheduling a time to photograph a proposal to his girlfriend Jen we were so pumped! We’ve been photographing weddings together since 2011, but we had never gotten to photograph a proposal & it was something I had been wanting to do for a long time. Tyler said he couldn’t imagine spending life without Jen & we were the lucky ones who got to photograph this huge moment in their lives together! The cover story for this photo session was very believable and that’s why Jen was so shocked when Tyler pulled out the ring. Tyler restored this 1969 Ford Mustang, and he told Jen that he wanted some professional photos taken of it, which didn’t surprise her one bit since the car is really special to him. After a few minutes (enough to make this seem convincing that it was just a car photo shoot), Tyler asked Jen to hop in for a few photos, too.And then Josh directed them to look in opposite directions for a “cool” shot. Then Tyler gave us the thumbs up that it was go time. And we’ll let the rest of the images speak for themselves. These two are such a cute couple & we’re so excited for them! You did a great job surprising the love of your life, Tyler. Way to go 🙂They’re engaged! Tyler took a tiny sip for the toast, but he gave the rest to his fiancé since he was driving. Congratulations, Jen & Tyler! We LOVED getting to photograph your proposal! Have so much fun being engaged!
If you’re new to our blog, hi! Welcome! We’re Josh & Danielle, a husband and wife wedding photography duo based in Columbiana, Ohio! We photograph weddings in the Youngstown, Ohio area mostly, but we are also in Pittsburgh & Cleveland pretty often, too. We love traveling to different states for weddings, also, and would truly love to chat with you if you’re planning a wedding for 2019 or 2020. We realized early in our photography business that we connect with couples & love being able to tell the story of the first day of their marriage. When we aren’t photographing weddings together, you can find us with our toddlers (a girl and a boy two years apart) and our two pugs (a boy and a girl 8 years apart & wrinkly as ever).
