We knew when we first met with Maggie & Joe that we’d LOVE photographing their wedding day. And then we got to hang out with them for their engagement session a few weeks ago & it most definitely solidified that fact- we love them & they are funny, have a cozy vibe together, and are one of those couples we felt like we could talk to for hours. They were friends first and that’s probably of the reasons they’re so comfortable and happy together. We’re so glad they found each other & that they get to have a celebration and make it official in December! 
We met them at the Butler downtown & their outfits were on point! They even got to include what Maggie’s friends & Joe jokingly and lovingly refer to as “Maggie’s favorite color”- plaid. They looked coordinated, but not matchy, which we recommend for sure! 
We love that they laugh together so often. And when they told us their proposal story we were cracking up because it sounds like something we would do! They both agreed that they rarely argue, but they were arguing about something silly during a car ride one day & before they were about to get out of the car Maggie said something to the effect of, “Okay, if you can just admit that I’m right, we can get out.” And Joe was fumbling with something in the glove compartment and then said, “Well here’s an argument for my side- marry me.” When he pulled out a ring, Maggie was shocked. During the telling of this story, Joe just smiled and said, “I won.” Then they both busted out laughing.
Joe is a bit of a goofball. 
Which makes Maggie laugh.
After our time at the Butler, we headed to Mill Creek Park. Sadly, the sky was overcast, but we made our own sun in a few shots with our flash. Fun times! 
Maggie is going to be a beautiful bride! I can’t wait to see what type of dress she chose for her wedding day! Oh, and the coolest thing is that they get to have their reception at The Lake Club, which is where they had their first date. 
They are the cutest. The End. 🙂
