So there’s a comfy, cozy, gorgeous Winter engagement session we have to share with you today as huge, fluffy snowflakes currently fall outside of our window on April 17. . . yeah. Anyway, Christy & Eric are so cute & fun together, and we were SO glad we got to shoot their Winter engagement photos! Christy currently lives in NYC & Eric currently lives in Arizona. Needless to say, we weren’t quite sure we’d be able to sneak in an engagement session before their Youngstown wedding this Summer. But we are oh-so-glad we did! We got to Skype with them both awhile back, but there is nothing like getting to hang out in person & get to know the couples whose weddings we have the privilege of photographing. We love engagement sessions for so many reasons, but that is definitely near the top of the list! Although we were all shivering when gusts of frigid wind blew through Mill Creek Park, Christy & Eric got to snuggle close & try their best to stay warm together. They are such a fabulous couple & we can’t wait for their wedding in August! We’re so glad they met that fateful day of the honors society meeting at their college. And we’re very happy that their relationship has stayed strong & resilient despite the fact that almost all of it has been very long distance. They’ve been through many moves, career changes, and deployments, but their love for one another has only strengthened. Now they get to say “I do” and start their forever journey together this Summer. We are so excited we get to photograph the first day of their marriage!
Christy’s eyes are so gorgeous! She’s going to be a downright stunning bride. And I can’t wait to see her dress & his tux that day! She has a fashion degree and works for a men’s fashion label so we know Eric will be looking dapper and she’ll be wearing something extra amazing.

This is their thing. Eric likes to toss Christy around & carry her. 🙂

What a beautiful bunch of Winter engagement photos! These two could be models, no lie! But we promise they’re a real couple & they’re really getting married this Summer. But let’s hope it’s way, way warmer than it was for their engagement photos. ha!
