I’ll warn you once- don’t look at today’s blog post if you don’t feel like smiling. Sara & Vince were so happy to be getting married to each other on their wedding day that the smiles were from ear & ear, contagious as all get out, and as genuine as they come! They are one of the sweetest couples: always writing each other little notes, interested in one another’s hobbies, and full of laughter. We had a fabulous time with them on their wedding day & are so glad we’ve gotten to know them. They got married & had their reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield & the entire day was beautiful even despite a little bit of rain.
Sara’s dress was from Treasured Moments Bridal. She got pampered by pro hair & makeup artists at The Boulevard of Salons in Warren. Before they saw each other during their first look, they wanted to exchange gifts & cards without seeing each other. Vince is definitely not afraid to let his emotions show when it comes to Sara. He absolutely loves her with all of his heart.Sara could NOT be any cuter. It’s as simple as that.We.Love.First.Looks.I know who the two happiest people on the planet were that day! After Sara & Vince got their happy tears out of the way, we were able to take some bride & groom portraits. We’re so glad the timeline was scheduled this way with the first look because if the portraits had been scheduled for after the wedding, we wouldn’t have been able to do them outdoors due to the weather. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a bride planning her wedding.A Floral Dynasty was the wedding day florist. These bridesmaids were a lot of fun. And doesn’t that yellow just pop with bright cheer against those pretty navy dresses? What a stunning bride!
We had to do this pose- just look at the back of that gown!
Boys being boys.Sara was kind of disappointed that they had to move their ceremony inside due to the weather, but all that mattered was that she was marrying Vince. All else faded away in that moment. The staff at Avion did a great job shifting everything to make room for the ceremony inside once it started raining.Their personal vows had everyone in the entire room crying. Some people claim that first looks take away from the emotion of the ceremony, but those people are wrong. The nautical theme was really cute.If you got to see their engagement session blog, you know that Sara & Vince like to go to comic cons together. Vince is Thor & Sara is Cinderella. Sara’s step-dad built the really cool cake stand dock. And Ami Cakes (Sara’s Aunt Ami) made the cake.Talk about a cake smash!Congratulations, Sara & Vince! We wish you a lifetime of comics, Vans, Disney movies, cat cuddles, no TV in the bedroom, laughter, and love that grows with each passing day!
