Katie & Gregg Wedding | Stambaugh Auditorium | Youngstown, OH Wedding Photography

Katie & Gregg’s wedding day was full of fun moments, emotional events, beautiful details, and genuine happiness. Their wedding ceremony and reception were both at Stambaugh Auditorium. But first, I started out the day with Katie at Panache Salon in Boardman for hair and then we walked over to The Makeup Boutique for makeup.
I can’t say enough kind words about Jen & her staff at The Makeup Boutique! They’re knowledgeable, fun, and always do a phenomenal job with makeup! And her boutique is really cute!Josh was with the guys as they got ready at Stambaugh.I bet you can guess which groomsman is Gregg’s brother. 🙂Katie’s bridal look was absolutely stunning. Her dark hair paired with her bold lip color enhanced her natural beauty in such a way that no one could take their eyes off her. . . especially Gregg.Because of the short amount of time in between their ceremony & reception, Katie & Gregg opted to do a first look prior to the ceremony. They shared a private moment together on the iconic stairway between the second and third floors of Stambaugh Auditorium. Then we had a relaxed & lovely time taking bride and groom photographs. These two are just right together. I guess that’s how it works out when you meet your future spouse in the parking lot of an Auto Zone and your first date is to see the movie The Wedding Crashers. 🙂The bridesmaids looked elegant in long black gowns.Katie’s adorable nieces were flower girls. So gorgeous!I loved the design of their wedding programs.Katie & Gregg opted to share in a ceremony during their wedding in which they placed letters to one another in a box that they would seal to open later.Their ceremony was so personal and meaningful. Their personal vows were sweet, funny, and emotional. I am pretty sure I let a tear slip out behind my camera. And their officiant shared letters that they had written during their marriage counseling sharing many of the reasons that they love one another. In between the ceremony & reception, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. We had time to shoot the family formal photos & a few more of Katie & Gregg. The last of the Fall leaves hung around for us that day. . . but barely. I love this:Their Fall theme was very pretty & their reception menu was so delicious- it was Thanksgiving dinner! And each guest could enjoy an individual pie. The bride’s aunt made all of the pies and cookies & she did a really wonderful job.Don’t you love that the cake topper incorporated the couple’s dogs, Molly Lou & Lucy Lou? 🙂 They were fun during the engagement session.First dance gorgeousness:We snuck them out for a few minutes & had some fun with our light painting. They were troopers even though it was pretty chilly and even snowing a bit! Katie & Gregg, you two are made for each other & we’re excited to see what the future holds for you! Enjoy married life & always remember the love you felt on your wedding day! Thanks for choosing us to capture the memories!
