We’ve had quite a few engagement sessions lately & we LOVE it! It’s no secret to anyone who knows us or is a regular blog reader- we absolutely adore engagement sessions! We get to hang out with the couples whose weddings we’ll be photographing, get to know them better, chat about their wedding plans, and treat it like a fun double date! It’s so much fun! We hung out with Jennifer & Tim at a farm near our home because they wanted a rustic & outdoorsy spot for their engagement session. The weather got a little crazy, but we stuck it out & we’re glad we did!
I love their smiles! They’re going to look wonderfully amazing on their wedding day- can’t wait!
Jen’s hair is so stinkin’ pretty! 
Jennifer & Tim met through Tim’s sister. Jen used to work with Tim’s sister & Jen & Tim are so glad she did because it brought them together! Tim’s family even got to witness the proposal! Each year, Tim’s family has a gift exchange on Christmas Eve; they each get to open up one small gift from someone. Tim’s sister drew Jen’s name for the gift exchange. Tim sneakily passed his sister the gift with Jen’s engagement ring inside so she’d get to open that in front of the whole family. She was really surprised & excited and got to say, “YES!” in front of lots of loved ones who could immediately celebrate the joy with her and Tim.

Aren’t willow trees the most enchanting tree? We planted two in our backyard last year & we named them Danielle & Josh. We’re hoping that they’ll be huge in 60 years so we can admire them while we hold hands in our rocking chairs on our deck. 🙂

Lovin’ the BOOTS!
When we met Tim & Jennifer for the first time it was in the Winter & he had a scruffy beard. They came over to our house for their consultation & our pug puppy Punky nestled up in his beard and took a nap (after biting the beard for a while, of course). It was so cute!
These reflection photos are just gorgeous! A huge canvas of this would be STUNNING!
Jen & Tim, your November wedding is going to be beautiful & we can’t wait to share it with you & your family members & friends! It’ll be here before we know it!
