Kelli’s & Paul’s wedding day in Warren, Ohio was absolutely gorgeous in every way. We couldn’t have painted a more beautiful day weather-wise. The skies were bright blue, the sun was shining, the humidity was low, & a light, refreshing breeze was flowing. Somehow, though, I know if the weather hadn’t been great, Kelli’s smile & laughter would’ve brightened the day for everyone involved in the day. She & Paul are so ridiculously happy together & that is evident to anyone who is blessed enough to be in their lives. We took some bride & groom creative photos in downtown Warren & so many folks (all of them strangers) stopped to yell their congratulations to the newlyweds. Enough with my rambling- onto the photos! 🙂
Josh started out the day with the groom & some friends at Cranberry Hills Golf Course.
I began the day with Kelli, her bridesmaids, & her mom at The Salon Team in Austintown. This salon was absolutely fabulous. The stylists were familiar with trends, helpful, fun, & talented. I’d definitely recommend them to bridal parties for wedding day hair & make-up! Give them a call-Â (330) 779-0955.
Kelli was one of the happiest brides I’ve ever seen!
Their wedding ceremony took place at Christ Church Episcopal in Warren. We’d like to give a shout out to the friendly & helpful staff there! They were so accommodating to us!
Kelli & Paul are both in the Army. Remember their Memorial Day Weekend engagement session? See it HERE.
A Floral Dynasty did a great job on the bouquets & floral decor.
Stunning, Kelli! Paul totally agrees; I was standing next to them after the ceremony & he kept smiling at Kelli & saying, “Wow.” 🙂
I love me some goofy bridesmaids!
Kelli seeing her dad for the first time on her wedding day:
Paul seeing his bride for the first time:
The ceremony was beautiful & sacred, but at the same time, it was laid back & full of laughter. Perfect.
Their officiant told the story of how Kelli & Paul met in Paul’s words. It was so cute.
Kelli & Paul had an Unplugged Wedding. They asked their guests to refrain from taking their own photos so that they could be truly present in the moment. Don’t worry; they’ll get to share ALL of the photos from their day with their guests because each of our wedding photography collections includes an online proofing gallery. Kelli & Paul can invite all of their guests to view the images there. Additionally, Kelli & Paul will receive a disc of images. They can share those images with their family members & friends. Â Unplugged Weddings are genius in our opinion.
Since Kelli & Paul are both in the Army, they were honored after the ceremony. In a military wedding, honoring the bride and groom is an optional tradition based on the personal choice of the bride and groom. Following the religious rite, honoring the bride is a traditional ceremony in which the bride and groom pass through an arch formed by swords or rifles.
Following the formal family portraits at the church, we headed to Courthouse Square in Warren for some wedding party photos, as well as bride & groom creative portraits.
A gorgeous day for a lovely couple!
Gosh, they’re super cute!
Operation: I Do!
Their reception took place at Dilucia’s Banquet Center.
Their first dance was very sweet. They danced to “God Gave Me You.”
Paul really went for it at the end of the song! 😉
That’s quite a cake cutting utensil you have there!
The parents dances were so special.
Kelli’s parents were very kind to us throughout the wedding day. They’re so cute together.
We sat with these two lovebirds during dinner. They just got engaged in Seattle. Congrats! You’re next!
Kelli’s grandfather tore up the dance floor! 😀
His speech was fantastic. He said, “We’re all related in this room- either by blood or by love.”
Kelli’s brother’s girlfriend caught the bouquet!
She wore her Army boots under her wedding dress for the garter retrieval.
And Kelli’s brother caught the garter. How poetic. 😉
Everyone had a fabulous time! They ended the night with “Now That We Found Love” and a little soul train action!
Congratulations, Kelli & Paul! We’re so happy you chose us to photograph your beautiful wedding day! We wish you happiness & love forever.
