Tonight on the blog, we have a classically beautiful bride and a Fall wedding. If you missed the blog about Callie’s and Patrick’s engagement session, check it out HERE. Both the brief, heartfelt ceremony and the warm, inviting, happy reception were held at Avion on the Water. We’ve shot a few receptions there this year, and the staff is always accommodating and pleasant.

Jenny from The Dutch Tulip completely shared the couple’s vision when it came to the bouquets, centerpieces, and decorations for the ceremony and reception. Jenny is sweet, creative, and a great listener- just what you wish for in a florist! We highly recommend her services! The bride’s bouquet is pictured above. You can see the lace wrap- that lace is from the bride’s mother’s wedding dress. I thought that was a significant, sentimental addition to the bride’s lovely bouquet.
The groom and his buds were having fun while waiting for the bride to make her grand entrance.
Callie’s father preparing to walk his only daughter down the aisle toward her soon-to-be-husband:
And Patrick seeing the love of his life for the first time that evening:
They couldn’t keep the smiles from their faces long enough to kiss! So adorable!
And by the Internet power vested in our blog, they’re now husband and wife. Patrick was joking the whole time that he was going to leave the reception early and nap. I guess he was ready just after the ceremony. 😉
Josh snuck behind them after they walked down the aisle. He caught them deliriously happy. 😀
Their bridal party: (Patrick’s poor little cousin broke her arm, but she got to wear a darling florescent pink cast).
How cute are Callie and her mom?!
We then had the pleasure of hanging out with the newlyweds for a bit of “alone” time. They are so right for one another.
I mentioned this in the blog about their engagement session, but Callie’s father stated it so succinctly and humorously in his toast that I would like to paraphrase: “I overheard some conversations between Callie and her mother regarding wedding planning. Callie always made it clear that the details weren’t important as long as she got to marry the redhead.”
Patrick’s brother (philosopher himself) led the guests on a mind-bending philosophical toast about love and happiness and Callie’s and Patrick’s future together.
Patrick enjoyed it.
Callie’s sister-in-law had sincere and comical words for the couple.
And Callie’s best friend talked about how she knew early on that Callie had fallen for Patrick and mentioned how she adores how Patrick takes care of Callie and will always protect her.
The cake cutting ended sweetly:
And the couple’s first dance was even sweeter:
Callie then got to share a dance with her dad.
And Patrick’s mother got to dance with her son:
The reception was full of laughs, polkas, the “wobble,” and all-around fun with friends and family.
The guys even busted out their t-shirt tuxedos!
Callie’s & Patrick’s wedding & reception were beautiful. We had a great evening with everyone there & felt blessed to be a part of it.
We’d love to talk to you about your wedding. Here are some ways to contact us:
