Abi & Brock Engagement Session | Mill Creek Park | Downtown Youngstown, OH | Youngstown, OH Engagement Photography

Plenty of words and phrases come to mind when I think of Abi & Brock: adorable, talented, givers, carefree, fun-loving, and full of laughter!

We had so much fun photographing their engagement session at Mill Creek Park.
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyWhen we first arrived to the park, Abi & Brock were posing together on a bench. They were looking cute and cozy. A gaunt, elderly gentleman with a friendly smile on his face approached them and asked them how their day was going. They told him it was going great and that they were having their engagement photos taken. A cute, petite woman who was with the man laughed and told Abi & Brock that the man was a clown. The man then proceeded to pull out a balloon and create a poodle for Abi…
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyOh, the story doesn’t end there. The clown then bent down on one knee, pulled out a gum ball machine ring, and proposed to Abi! We were all cracking up. That definitely set the tone for the rest of the session, which was an absolute blast!
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyThe Autumn colors were just stunning at that time of the year.
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyThey are so enthralled with each other, which made our job easy.
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyHello, Gorgeous Light Bubbles! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyJust for the record, that water was freezing. These two were up for it.

Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyThe best kind of couples know how to have fun and goof around. I know I’ve said that on the blog about a million times, but it’s TRUE! ๐Ÿ™‚
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyJosh & I were giggling a lot when we saw this image.

Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographySo sweet!
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyWhich look do you prefer? The image on the left was shot with a 24-70 mm. The image on the right was shot with a 70-200 mm. The depth of field in the image on the right is much shallower (so the background is blurred). I love them both for different reasons. The trees pop and look stunning in the image on the left. The image on the right showcases Abi and Brock and their cute smiles because they stand out from the background.
Youngstown, OH Engagement PhotographyAfter shooting at Mill Creek Park, we drove over to the city for a few photos. A lot of couples like that about our engagement sessions; we’ll go wherever you like within the allotted time frame so you can get a variety of images with a different style.
