The craziness of wedding season has caught up with me & my blogging has been neglected. For that, I am sorry! I’ve missed sharing the love of such wonderful people with you! I really enjoy blogging because it allows me to share a couple’s story. Jon & Darla are one of those couples who are simply made for one another. They complement each other perfectly. Their friends & family absolutely cannot wait for their big day coming up in November. And we’re pretty sure Darla’s wedding countdown started somewhere in the 200s or so. . . they’re just smitten with one another & it’s adorable to see.
Darla is an accessory girl for sure. I’m excited to see what her wedding day attire is all about, but unfortunately I couldn’t talk to her about it at the e-sesh since Jon was listening in & we didn’t want to give away any secrets.Downtown Youngstown was a great backdrop for their engagement session & Darla ran into 5 or so people all around town that she knew. She’s a pretty big deal if you didn’t know. This is where I’d put the winky face emoji, but I tend to shy away from emojis on my blog now because I’m afraid I’ll overuse them & they also sometimes make the blog load all wonky. That’s a technical computer term.Don’t you love her shoes?!Darla & Jon met online & have been inseparable ever since. I don’t know this for sure, but I’m going out on a limb here & declaring it: I’m pretty sure both Jon & Darla were smitten from the start & knew that they were soulmates. The way they describe it, they seem to have just clicked. I’m so glad God brought them together through the power of the good old Interwebs.Darla is downright gorgeous. Her dark hair & stunning eyes & beautiful skin all glow. . . not to mention her smile that radiates joy.Jon is a romantic pyro. He’s a volunteer firefighter, which Darla absolutely loves because of his servant’s heart. And he also assists with fireworks shows. So his marriage proposal was quite fitting. He got down on one knee during the November Rain fireworks display. Darla said, “Of course!”Darla & Jon, thank you for such a fun evening during the engagement session. We have enjoyed getting to know you & can’t wait for the wedding day. We know there will be lots of joy & love. Thanks for choosing us to photograph such an important time in your lives!
