Christmas gives us that comfy, cozy, warm, fuzzy feeling because we get to be with our family all day. Fun traditions abound, laughter fills the air, hugs & gifts are exchanged, & we all think about the most amazing gift we ever received- Jesus.
It has been a Christmas family tradition for YEARS to gather at G-ma’s & Tata’s house. Ever since I can remember, we’ve gone there on Christmas Day. Some of my fondest memories with my sisters & cousins are at G-ma & Tata’s house! It’s my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and siblings all together & I LOVE IT. The family is growing quite a bit every single year so there are always more babies around having fun and providing us with entertainment. My G-ma thinks her basement is going to get too small eventually.
These are my beautiful sisters! Here’s my one-year-old nephew, Landon. My niece Addie & my cousin Aubrey were having fun doing gymnastics.Every year, G-ma has us play games to earn prizes or money or see who gets to open our gifts first. It’s silly and fun. My other one-year-old nephew Mason was pretty happy.
The great grandkids had a lot of fun playing the games.Princess Addison.
Here’s my Tata showing off his new John Deere hat. Look for him in the Street Fair Parade in Columbiana this year with his spiffy John Deere tractor.
G-ma & Tata are the best. This is my youngest first cousin Jennifer. She & I are both going to have our babies soon. She just didn’t get the memo to do the pregnant lady pose. :) After the fun at G-ma & Tata’s house, we went to Josh’s parents’ house for Christmas dinner. Our niece Gianna & nephew Aiden are a riot.Aiden is a goofball. He was pretty happy with his gifts.Gianna was a very fast gift unwrapper this year!I got a glider rocker for the baby. Very sweet.Josh’s parents:Then we got to have some fun with Gianna’s new Play Dough! Don’t you just love playing with Play Dough?! All of the boys wore flannels that day.Aiden wanted his photo taken with Uncle Josh because they matched. The day after Christmas is when we had our festivities with my parents and sisters. Addie loves to open gifts! I am not sure why she’s holding up sweatpants that are as tall as she is, though.
Addie loves her Aunt Lisa.My dad always tries to guess what’s in each gift before he opens it. He thinks he’s very talented at guessing so we always try to trick him.I can’t believe this little girl is four already. She is the sweetest little niece we could imagine.Yes, I am wearing an MC Hammer “Can’t Touch This” shirt. 🙂 HAHA! We hope you had a lovely Christmas celebration with your family! There will not be a New Years Eve recap on our blog because all you’d see is a sentence that reads: “We accidentally fell asleep on the couch at 10:30.” 🙂 Stay tuned to the blog tomorrow for our favorite engagement images of 2014!
