We were unsure about the weather for this session, but it ended up being amazing! It rained our entire drive to Chipotle (our go-to place for dinner before sessions when cooking and cleaning up a meal before we leave for an evening session is just not going to happen), but it cleared up when we arrived to Lanterman’s Mill for Jacqueline & Anthony’s engagement session. Jackie & Anthony are beyond cute together! Â They’ve known each other for a long time through mutual friends, and it shows. They’re so comfortable around each other & their eyes are full of love when they look at each other. Anthony lights up around Jackie & just adores her. It was really great to hang out with them and take some pretty photos.LOVE her dress (and, of course, the color!) and the way that they coordinated well, but didn’t match. We really, really, really like shooting engagement sessions! It’s laid back, fun, and a fantastic way to get to know our clients better!Â
I love the smiles! And Josh even commented on Jackie’s sweet nail polish. He notices details like that & I think that’s one of the things that makes him a great photographer. Jackie’s daughter, Celia, chose the nail polish color.Jackie, you are going to be a stunning bride! Gah! 🙂One of the cutest things they told us the first time we met them is their proposal story. Anthony is a chef & Jackie is in the restaurant business so they love to go out and get great meals together. The day they got engaged, they had gone to a nice dinner in Cleveland. Throughout the day, Anthony kept getting down on one knee and telling Jackie that he loves her. He kept changing his mind about proposing at the last second and would just get up and go about the day like there was nothing weird about him getting down on one knee. When recounting the story, he explained that he just wanted everything to be just perfect and to blow Jackie away so he kept reconfiguring everything. Jackie obviously knew something was up because of this odd behavior, but she just let it go. When they got home, Anthony ended up proposing there. Everything was just perfect & Jackie said yes.Celia came along and jumped in for a few family photos. She is adorable & isn’t her headband the cutest?!A fav for sure!Jackie, Anthony, & Celia, we had a lot of fun with you & can’t wait to hang out again. And we’re super excited for your wedding in April!
