So much has changed in the world since the last time we blogged on this page a few weeks ago. Wow. COVID-19 has definitely affected the world in a huge way & our hearts are with everyone who has lost someone. We’re trying our best to navigate this situation in a way that will serve and love our couples well. This is certainly an unprecedented and difficult time to be planning a wedding! We want to be there for you all, help you all in any way we can, and encourage you all that your marriage is the most important aspect of your wedding day and even a pandemic can’t stop your love for each other!
With that in mind, we will be sharing lots of happy blogs very soon because joyful and fun photos make everyone smile, right?! And Elaina and Phil surely make us smile! They’re adorable together! Their lakeside engagement session was unpredictable in the best way and full of laughs.
The day of Elaina and Phil’s engagement session last Fall was sunny and clear. There was nothing on the radar. Then we drove up to Lake Milton to meet them and it started raining on the way. All four of us kept going back and forth on what would be best and then we just decided to go for it because it seemed like it was going to clear up.
These two are super cute. Can’t wait for their wedding day! 
So yeah…about that rain letting up. It didn’t. haha. It poured even more. We told these two if they were up for it, we definitely were. And they just went for it, which was AMAZING! Just wait until you see how their session ended. Both of them may or may not have been IN the lake. Yes!
Speaking of the lake, that’s where these two got engaged. Phil had a boat ride planned for the two of them and he proposed while they were out on the water. It rained that day, too. Then when they got closer and closer back to shore/the house, Elaina saw that their family members and friends were all there to celebrate with them. What a special memory! Awesome job, Phil!
When you can laugh like this with your best friend in the pouring rain, life is darn good.
Elaina and Phil, thanks for braving the rain with us & having a blast! We loved your engagement session and can’t wait for the big day you say “I do!”
