Once in a while, EVERYTHING (literally every little thing) comes together during an engagement session or wedding day to make it absolutely EPIC and it also happens to fit with our own favorite style of photography session. Of course, not every wedding day or session we photograph fits with our personal favorite style and it doesn’t have to! That would actually be kind of boring. We like variety in our creative process, after all, and we want our couples to have exactly the type of photos/session that THEY want. I feel like we totally mesh with Nicole & Jon and share a lot of the same vibe that they have as a couple. We loved hanging out with them for their engagement photos & can’t wait for the wedding day! They’re goofy, they lovingly tease each other, and they have so much fun. They LOVE to laugh and there’s a quiet ease and comfort between them; they don’t have to try to impress each other…they are confident in their love. Not to mention, the location for their session was stunning & the golden September light could NOT have been better. 
Oh, and did we mention that they’re great looking and super adorable together?! Well, you can see that.
I love Nicole’s top! The style and color are both so pretty on her.
The cuteness! We’re so happy these two ran into each other (not literally, thankfully ha!) at a car show.

Nicole was praying and hoping that this field stayed yellow until her session. Welp, prayer answered! Wow, is that gorgeous!
And we could pose them any which way & they looked amazing. So there’s that.

We’d also love to give a shout out to Jacqueline Jones from Lyra Salon, who did Nicole’s hair and makeup for the session. Beautiful!
After an outfit change (another lovely choice!), we ventured a few steps over in Nicole’s parents’ backyard to the patch of sunflowers that we made look like a whole field of sunflowers. 🙂
Jon says this is typical. lol.

Oh, and Nicole’s dad just finished this dock in time for their engagement photos. Perfect! The sunset was super glowy & we were shooting like crazy as it sunk below the horizon.
They are just adorable, are they not?! And they got engaged on their favorite beach in Florida at a spot with pretty symmetrical trees that Jon knew Nicole loved. Her family was there & they even got a photo of the proposal that they showed us. It was so amazing the whole thing looked staged, but it was real life. So cool! 
Like we said, we CAN’T WAIT for this wedding day! Nicole & Jon, y’all rock! Thank you for choosing us to photograph your engagement session & wedding day!
