Danielle & Brett enjoyed a beautiful & classic Youngstown wedding featuring Rose Garden wedding photos. Although the weather reports for their wedding day were definitely less-than-desirable, we ended up having a lovely day & got to shoot their bride & groom and bridal party portraits at Mill Creek Park in Fellows Riverside Gardens (or the Rose Garden). Danielle was a gorgeous bride & Brett was a handsome groom. We would’ve had a hard time if we had tried for some unknown reason to take a bad photo that day. We also really loved their wedding cake topper! Danielle is a nurse & Brett is a police officer; their cake topper showcased those chosen service professions adorably. We’re excited to share these images with you all!As with most wedding days, I was with the bride & bridesmaids while Josh was with the groom & groomsmen during the preparation portion of the day.Brittany from Smashbox Cosmetics did a great job with bridal makeup!Danielle & her twin sister Taylor are so much fun together. The wedding ceremony took place at St. James Meeting Place in Boardman Park. It’s a quintessential wedding chapel.By the power vested in me by my wedding photography blog, I now pronounce you wife & husband officially on the interwebs. This was the first time we’d ever seen bubble blowing machines for the bubble exit from the church. The kids in attendance were big fans.I know I said it already, but talk about a gorgeous bride! Her stunning dress is from Toula’s Bridal in Canfield. We got to take bridal party portraits at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, which we were all really excited about. Despite the weather reports of rain, rain, and more rain, the wedding day was beautiful! And the navy bridesmaids’ dresses with the gray tuxes were a classy combo. When you tell the bridal party to react to the kiss, you get a few mixed reactions & it ends up pretty funny.Beautiful ladies! The bride & groom portraits are always our favorite part of the day. The Rose Garden in Mill Creek Park makes a darling backdrop for romance.I love how they laugh together. We’re all so happy their mutual friend introduced them! This was a recreation of a pose we did for their engagement session; so cute!I know there’s a lot of beauty in just this one photo, but one of my favorite things about it is Danielle’s gorgeous hair! After our time at the Rose Garden, we headed to Blue Wolf Events at the Maronite Center, which is only a short drive away. The Maronite Center has a wonderful staff & you’re in great hands when you work with Stacey, their event coordinator & director.See how perfect this cake topper is for Danielle & Brett?!Kim’s Confection made the wedding cake. These two won the Anniversary Dance, and I can’t remember the exact number of years they’ve been married, but I’m pretty sure it was over 60! Bob Hlinka, the Music Man DJ, kept everyone on the dance floor having fun!Danielle & Brett, we had a fabulous time with you, your friends, and family members on your beautiful wedding day! We’re so glad we got to be part of everything. Also, we cannot thank you enough for the lovely thank you card you sent to us! We can’t tell you how much it means to us when we receive handwritten thank yous from our clients! You’re such fun & happy people; we can’t wait to see what the future holds in store for your marriage because we’re sure it’s going to be an amazing time for you!

The identity of the oldest couple married is Brett”s grandparents Mr & Mrs Richard Balog. They have been married 56 years
Thank you! 56 years is amazing. Congrats to them!
