We’re on a roll lately with engagement sessions & weddings on the blog so let’s continue that fun trend with today’s engagement session featuring the goofy, great looking, and funny JC & Jenna! These two are so happy together & it’s really great to just be around them. Their relationship started with a chance meeting when they were neighbors in an apartment complex. Thankfully Jenna decided to ignore the fact that she thought JC was too old for her 😉 and just go for it. Now we get to photograph their 2016 wedding. . . yay!
They looked phenomenal for their Fall engagement session. . . so polished & put together.
What I love about Jenna- she’s so beautiful, but she never takes herself too seriously. She’s down to earth & in tune with her sense of humor & goofy side.

Fall foliage at its finest.
So you’ve gotta hear the story of how they got engaged. It was nearing Christmas time & the tree was up so JC wrapped the ring box & placed it under the tree with the other gifts like it was just some random present. He was going to play it off like it was no big deal when it came time to open everything else. Well, their precious son Charlie (four legged child) took way too much of an interest in the gift so JC got a bit nervous that Charlie would eat the ring and decided to propose to Jenna earlier than planned. Jenna was super excited even though she may or may not have found a jewelry store bag in the dresser a few weeks prior. 🙂

Sorry to any joggers on the trails at this point. Our flash may  have been a bit jarring. 🙂 I’d say it was worth it for these shots! Jenna & JC, you two are so amazing together & we’re excited to get to know you both even more throughout this wedding planning process. We can’t wait for your wedding next October!
