Ali & Eric are a great couple & they’re up for travel & adventure any time. They even got engaged in Italy! And just last weekend they took a quick trip to Niagara Falls just because. They love to experience fun & exciting things together, but are also completely content going for a walk or watching a movie together. Their engagement session was a lot of fun & we were laughing almost the whole time. Their session was originally scheduled for a day in early October, but it was our only session throughout the entire month of October that got rained out. When we rescheduled for early November I was a little nervous that it would be really cold or that the leaves would be completely gone. We were all pleasantly surprised by the BEAUTIFUL nearly 80 degree November day complete with colorful leaves & gorgeous backdrops. Winning!
They introduced us to a new Pittsburgh location- Washington’s Landing. It was beautiful! This great couple met while in college. He invited her to work on a physics project with him & then they later met up at a mutual friend’s party. She dressed as a firefighter & he dressed as Toad from the Super Mario games. A firefighter & Toad seem to be an unlikely pair, but these two hit it off. They are so cute!
This is the gorgeous ring that Eric stunned Ali with while they were vacationing in Rome, Italy. He got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife outside of the Vatican in St. Peter’s Square. In Eric’s words, “At this spot, all of the rows of pillars in St. Peter’s square align directly behind the other. It looks like there is only one row. Now we can always go back to that spot.” So wonderful! Sometimes we pinch ourselves that part of our job is getting to hang out with fun couples in amazing weather in parks & other pretty spots taking photos that they’ll treasure for years. I mean. . . that’s unbelievable to us sometimes.
This looks like the height of Fall to me. Stunning! And their city in the background. We’re so looking forward to their Pittsburgh wedding next year! It’ll be an amazing celebration!
