Lauren & Dillon’s wedding day was full of smiles, excitement, and fun. Lauren was one of the most calm brides ever. She was just ready to marry her love! Her priorities that day were spot on!
Lemon Tree made the flowers for the wedding day.The joy she exuded all day was beautiful and infectious. The room she got ready in had a wall full of windows. Natural light for the win!Josh was with Dillon while he got ready for the first look. And then it was time. I get really excited when it’s time for the first look. I can just feel the couple’s happiness and anticipation as the bride walks toward her groom to tap him on the shoulder. Then they get to share a private moment together and talk and laugh and check each other out. 🙂 It’s so much fun & we’re so happy we get to be a part of it!Be still, my heart! Oh, first looks, how we love thee!Because of the first look, we had time before the wedding ceremony to take photos with the bridal party & with the families. Thank goodness because once the ceremony started it rained. She got her gorgeous gown at Jacqueline’s Bridal in Poland.Their ceremony was traditional and simple in a beautiful way. They did their bubbles in the church since it was raining outside. 🙂
The reception was at The Links at Firestone Farms. Their dessert was a CHEESECAKE BAR! Yum! Their guests loved it!Hogan’s Bakery made the cheesecake. This little sign in the bathroom was cute.Their reception was a really fun time & so many people were dancing that they were spilling off the dance floor. That’s just what you want!Something you surely don’t see every day: FIVE generations. (This is Dillon’s family).
This is one of the many reasons we love The Links. . . it seems that there are always gorgeous sunsets there! And that’s why you should never be sad about rain on your wedding day. The clouds from the rain stuck around to make THIS beauty in the sky & Dillon & Lauren snuck away from the reception for five minutes to steal a kiss & they’ll now have an epic sunset photo to show for it. 🙂Lauren & Dillon, thank you two for allowing us to share in your wedding day & for trusting our advice about the first look! We truly hope the photos will allow you to relive your wedding day for many years to come!
