To Joshua/Tenley’s Daddy:
We love you so much! You’re our protector, our comedian, and our favorite cuddler. You’re the perfect mixture of tough & gentle. From the first moment you held Tenley (literally the first second of her life here on earth), there was a special bond between you. Even now, the way that she looks at you is with such adoration. You are the one person in the world who makes her laugh the loudest, smile the biggest, and fall asleep the fastest.
Seeing you as Tenley’s father has brought me so much joy. Those times we’re standing in her nursery and reading her bedtime stories after giving her a bath make my eyes sting with tears of happiness. Doing this parenting thing with you has already been such a fun adventure & we’re only about four months in! You’re everything I prayed for in a husband & I am so happy that Tenley will have such an amazing example of how a man should treat a woman in her life each day.
P.S. Thanks for changing 90% of the diapers thus far. 😉 You’re so patient, kind, loving, caring, joyful, calming, and strong. We’re so thankful for you. Happy Father’s Day!
