Our pugs are a source of entertainment, cuddles, and love in our lives. We are definitely dog lovers & always love when our couples include their dogs in their engagement photo sessions and weddings! They’re a part of the family, too! Norris was in our wedding as a groomsman (Punky wasn’t around yet). Yesterday was National Puppy Day so we thought it’d be fun to share some facts you may not know about Norris (9 years old) & Punky (one year old).
1. Norris was born in Kent, Ohio. Go Golden Flashes!
2. Punky was born in Alabama. She was the runt of the litter.
3. Norris is a cuddler. He would cuddle NON-STOP if he could!
4. Punky’s favorite toy is her tennis ball. She’s a fetching fiend! She’s very athletic! And she’ll chew her Nyla bone until the cows come home. It soothes her.
5. The only food that we’ve found that Norris refuses to eat is lettuce. He’ll spit that stuff out every time.
6. Punky has a unique marking on her right hip; I claim it looks like an outline of the continents. Josh humors me and agrees. 🙂
7. Norris and Punky both LOVE to go for walks down our chip & seal country road. They will excitedly rush to their leashes if you even utter the word “walk,” “leash,” or “buh byes.” They sometimes get perturbed if they hear us say “talk” because they think we said “walk” & that we’re teasing them.
8. Norris snores like an obese old man. He even snores when he’s not sleeping! So many of our clients & friends crack up at Norris snoring when we don’t even notice it because we’re so used to it. It’s an all day every day thing in this house.
9. Punky loves to eat snow. Josh calls it her Gremlin juice because she turns into an even more hyper and crazy dog when she gets just a little fix.
10. Norris’ forehead often smells like grape Pez candy. Sometimes the scent is so strong that it emanates from him & you can smell it from a few feet away. I love his Pez smell & his forehead wrinkles that go along with it!
