“Home” was the theme for Sarah & Kevin’s wedding day because Sarah & Kevin, no matter where they are in the world, are home when they’re together. Sarah is from the Youngstown area, Kevin is from Rochester, NY, and they met while working together in Virginia. Thankfully for us, they got married in Youngstown and chose us to photograph their lovely wedding day!
Josh was hanging out with the guys at the hotel.I was with Sarah & her family & friends at Aria Salon in Boardman. Anna Popovich, April Heeter, Rayshone Oliver, and Carol Catauro were the stylists for the bride & bridal party. After the salon, the ladies went to Sarah’s parents’ home in Boardman.Lucy was chillaxing at Sarah’s parents’ home.Sarah got her gown at Jacqueline’s Bridal in Poland. It was stunning on the hanger, but even more beautiful when Sarah put it on!Sarah wore her grandmother’s necklace. ♥When her sister put the necklace on Sarah, it really hit her that she was a bride . . . and she missed her grandma. Then her dad helped her with her shoes.Wild Flower Cove did a great job with the bouquets. The wedding ceremony took place at St. Michael Parish in Canfield.A candle for Kevin’s late mother sat beside the couple on the altar. The weather was cooperating with us at this exact point in time, but that didn’t last for too long. It was a drizzly day on and off, but we still got all of the portraits in because we know the spots in Mill Creek Park where we can hide from the rain. 🙂 I love the coral dresses with the turquoise necklaces that Sarah got for everyone! And this was a very fun & cooperative bridal party.Sisters 🙂Can you spot the two tiny “extra” members of the bridal party who were along for the ride with their mommas? These guys were entertaining to say the least. After the photos with the bridal party, we stole Sarah & Kevin away for some bride & groom portraits & found all of the dry spots in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Gorgeous, Sarah! It was cool that we got to take some wedding photos at Fellows Riverside Gardens because we took some of their engagement photos there, too.We also hit up some spots in downtown Youngstown. The rain had passed, thankfully! The reception was at Drake’s Landing in Canfield. The cake & cupcakes were from Clarencedale Cake. The ring bearer was having a bit of fun before the reception started. Then the toasts happened & during the toast from Kevin’s brothers, they paused for a group selfie. 🙂Their first dance as husband & wife was to Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.”Then Sarah got to share a dance with her father. And Kevin shared a dance with his step-mother.Then all kinds of crazy-awesome dancing happened! Brian Price did a great job keeping the crowd on the dance floor.
Sarah & Kevin, we had a blast with you two on your wedding day! We wish you the very best in your lives together!
