We have a couple of CUTIES on the blog today! They’re engaged & will be getting married in March 2015. We had so much fun with them during their engagement session in Kent, Ohio. They both attended Kent State University at one point in their lives; although, they didn’t know each other then. Y’all know Josh & I have a soft spot in our hearts for Kent because that’s where we both went to undergrad & where our young relationship blossomed. So we were excited when they decided to have their engagement photos taken in Kent even though their wedding will be in Brunswick & their wedding reception is in Cleveland next year. Nicole & Cody were all smiles during their engagement session & we love their sense of humor together. They’re really wonderful & we know their wedding day will be fun & pretty!
We LOVE when the light is like this; backlighting is our favorite.
Gorgeousness! Josh & I really adored Nicole’s boots! Josh was the first to compliment her on them actually. 🙂

I liked their look- very classic & simple. And her red shirt really popped!
These two LUCKY DUCKS got to go to Cabo in December 2013. Nicole woke up way too early to catch their flight- as in “This is an inhuman and ungodly hour” kind of early. But Cody woke her right up with the most beautiful engagement ring and the loveliest question she could imagine: “Will you marry me?” She was ecstatic and surprised. Cody just couldn’t even wait until they arrived to Cabo. 🙂

After that we were all hungry. Modeling and photographing are hard work. 😉 So we all grabbed a burger at bar145. Yum.
