One of the fun aspects of going to a wedding nearly every weekend is seeing the creativity, the ideas executed, & the COLORS. Â Couples love to express themselves through the wedding colors they chose. Sometimes couples even allow their wedding party to choose their own outfits/colors that fit with a certain theme. We’ve seen a lot of bridesmaids wearing the same color in different dress styles. We’ve also seen bridal parties wearing varying colors of the same dress. Obviously, the most important part of a wedding day is the getting married part & the foundation upon which the couple builds their marriage. The second most important part is being present & enjoying time with family & friends. Everything after that is just a bonus. . . but it’s a FUN bonus. We saw a lot of blue in 2013. Check out some of the colors our couples chose in the wedding we shot last year below:
Black bridesmaid dresses go so well with bright, fun pops of color with the bouquets. As I was a member of this bridal party, I also just want to say a huge “Thank you!” to the bride for picking these out for us because I’ve worn this dress a couple of times since the wedding. It’s comfortable & cute!
What I loved about this bridal party were the awesome burlap bouquets.Â
The bright pink & flower colors worked so well for this beach wedding! 🙂
This wedding party had a few beautiful colors going on!Â
These beautiful ladies really pulled off the slate gray bridesmaid dresses.
Tiffany blue bridesmaid dresses looked fabulous on this wedding party. The Matron of Honor wore a slightly different hue.
The navy & pale floral colors complemented each other so well in this wedding.
This purple wedding day reminded me of royalty (purple symbolizes royalty). 🙂
These blue bridesmaid dresses worked well for this mid-summer wedding.
This wedding party dressed in various colors because the bride just LOVES color & could not narrow it down to one. They looked awesome together!
Navy dresses with bright summery wildflowers were quite a combo for this August wedding celebration.
These bridesmaids were thankful for long dresses on this cold March wedding day! The blue & yellow worked well together.
Royal blue bridesmaid dresses paired well with the silver sparkly details of this Winter wedding day.
These formal black bridesmaid dresses suited the sophisticated black, white, and red wedding reception well.
Purple bridesmaid dresses, purple reception details, and a few pops of purple on the bride’s dress tied the entire wedding day together.
Orange is such a cheery color. These dresses and bouquets looked gorgeous.Color is one great way to express your personality on your wedding day. You wedding colors can be as unique as you are & help tie together the theme of the day. Enjoy planning!
