Our engagement session with Emily & Bryan was full of laughs. These two share their very own goofy sense of humor together and love to be kooky and laugh. The story of how they got engaged is cute, but I’ll save that for later in the post. For now, I’ll just let you see how adorable and in love they are together. We met them at Boardman Park. Their wedding is coming up in April, & they’ll be exchanging vows at St. James Meeting Place so they wanted to get a few photos taken there that they’ll be able to reenact in their wedding getup. π
Their engagement session took place on the most gorgeous Fall day.
Emily said, “He likes to bite.” ΓΒ That’s cool with us. ΓΒ π
They had their very own custom-designed Chucks for their e-session that said Kobo (Bryan’s nickname) and Mrs. Kobo. LOVE!
We incorporated them into a few ring shots:
Once we wrapped at St. James Meeting Place, we headed to Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.
Don’t you adore Emily’s locks? She’s a stylist & it shows!
The sweetness of this one . . . *swoon*.
Tropical paradise or Youngstown, Ohio? You decide.
Oh, you want to know how he proposed? When Emily tells the story, she says he was following her around the house, acting really strange, not allowing her to take phone calls, and telling her that he wanted to talk to her. When Bryan talks about it, he says he wanted the timing to be right, but he was also really excited and didn’t want to wait any longer. Looking back on it, he realizes his behavior probably did seem odd. He finally asked her in the hallway of their place. The way Bryan puts it: “She said, ‘no,’ but her eyes said, ‘yes.’” They may or may not have sat on the floor in the middle of the hallway and cried out of sheer joy together. π She did say the word, “Yes,” just a little bit later & here they are. . . at their engagement session.
What a great looking couple!
By the way, these two have the cutest son, Owen, & I’m sure you’ll get to see his precious face in their wedding blog.
After the Rose Garden, we headed to downtown Yo.
And this sweet ride made an appearance.
I love their happiness. And the car is a pretty decent backdrop. π
Emily & Bryan, we can’t wait for your wedding! We know it’ll be an amazing celebration!
