Sara & Cody are one of those couples who put you at ease when you’re around them. They’re so comfortable together. They’ve been together for seven years & are so happy to be in each other’s presence. Â They just glowed during their bride & groom session, but I’m getting ahead of myself. . .
I met the ladies at The Good Look where they were having their hair styled & their make-up applied. Â Sara was so calm and ready for her wedding day. She just kept saying she wanted to see Cody.
The ceremony took place at a small church in Columbiana.
This was a lovely tribute to Sara’s grandparents. Her grandmother’s teapot & a photo from their wedding day had a place in the church during the ceremony & in the banquet hall during the reception.
Sara + Cody = love. 😉
Josh was with the guys while they got ready. Cody was really excited for the day & couldn’t wait to see Sara.
Sara’s dress is from Alfred Angelo Bridal & her wedding bouquets were designed by Burkland’s Flowers. The bouquets were modern & beautiful.
Sara looked so beautiful & happy.
The guys lookin’ cool:
I love being a witness to such love between parents & their children on wedding days. A mother-child relationship has to be one of the most beautiful connections in all of the world.
These two could NOT keep from smiling when they were looking at each other during the ceremony. It was fantastic.
Husband and wife! Yay! 😀
Josh surreptitiously caught this moment between them in the hallway just after the recessional.  Such joy.
The family & friends showered them in bubbles & cheers.
Their limo bus took them & their bridal party to Fellows Riverside Garden in Mill Creek Park for some photos in between the ceremony and the reception. Just a friendly wedding day tip: this location can get very busy on popular wedding dates. As long as you trust us as your photographers and aren’t completely set on one specific spot in the park, it’ll be fine. We’ll find somewhere that isn’t overrun with bridal parties & photographers, that has flattering light, & that will hopefully keep you cooler in those tuxes & heavy wedding gowns. 🙂
The roses were in full bloom & the sky was overcast enough that we could shoot in the Rose Garden that afternoon.
They’re so cute!
Their purple details looked elegant at The Blue Wolf Banquet Center. The reception went very smoothly & the food was delish. Stacey & staff were welcoming & professional throughout the evening. Cody’s groom’s cake represented his favorite team!
First dance sweetness:
Sara & her mother shared a special & emotional dance together.
Cody & his mother also shared a spotlight dance.
Then they danced the night away with their family & friends.
The groomsmen had a little surprise for Sara.
Sara & Cody, we had a lot of fun with you both & wish you a lifetime of health, happiness, love, & laughter. Enjoy your “couch pose” in married life! 😉
