Jill & Ryan are way too cute together; they are high school sweethearts and are more comfortable & cozy together than I am in my beloved yoga pants- now that’s comfortable! ๐ What I mean by “comfortable together” is that they’re such an intrinsic part of one another’s life that they couldn’t imagine living without each other.
We shot their engagement photo session at Beaver Creek State Park in Columbiana County, Ohio. Jill’s babysitter used to bring her to the park and they’d walk her dogs there. Ryan said he remembered the last time going to the park to be his sophomore year of high school for a leaf project. Fast forward- now it’s time for an engagement session together in the park!
The light for this session was wondrous. We love light bubbles & backlighting; they make the photos feel romantic.
Remember how I said they were way too cute? Ummmm . . . yeah. I rest my case:
We call the below left the “mom photo” as it is usually a favorite of mothers and grandmothers. Josh & I love shooting creative, different photos, but at the end of the day, you’ll always want the “mom photo” in your collection of engagement photographs.
They like to laugh. ๐
Jill- you’re going to be a fabulously beautiful bride next June!
After snapping this shot, I could not help but exclaim, “Ahhh, you two are so cute!” They just laughed, but they know it’s true. ๐
This is a romantic & fun little pair of photos:
Look at the adorable hearts in her ring setting:
An instant favorite from the sesh:
Then we had a little bit of creative fun with our lighting equipment in the woods:
Thanks for an extremely fun engagement session, Jill & Ryan! Now you’re used to our shooting style, you’re pros at our “posing,” and you’ll have some professional photos consistent in style with your wedding photos in casual clothes to display in your newly painted home. ๐ Win, win, win, I’d say!
