Jeordyn & Thad are so right for each other. Their wedding was lovely to photograph because just looking at them together would make anyone smile. One of Thad’s best men that day said, “Looking at them you can see why this works. Jeordyn is a much hotter, female version of Thad.” That got a laugh out of everyone, but it definitely seems to be an accurate statement.
On the wedding day, Josh met the guys in the morning while they were enjoying a round of golf.
Meanwhile, I met the ladies at the salon, Signature Styles.
We then ventured over to Mountaineer Racetrack, where the reception was to take place. Jeordyn & her bridesmaids got ready for their day there and enjoyed some of East Liverpool’s finest cuisine… The Hot Dog Shoppe (one of Jeordyn’s favorites growing up; now that she has moved states away, she really treasures it while she’s visiting the area).
Her dress was gorgeous & looked so beautiful on her.
Her boots were pretty darn amazing.
Jeordyn could not have been a more gorgeous bride. At all.
Thad & the groomsmen were getting geared up at Longs Run Presbyterian Church.
The moms were escorted down the aisle. Then it was wedding time!
They’re husband and wife! Because this blog pronounces them so. ๐
Their bridal party was HUGE and really fun.
Then we stopped by Thompson Park to shoot the bride & groom creative session. รย We adored the stunning willow trees there. We hadn’t been to that area before so we went prior to the wedding day to scope out the best shot locations where the light and photo conditions would be ideal. We were super glad we location scouted because we found these little hidden areas that complemented the hotness of this couple!
These photos make me smile. ๐
Gah! They’re so good looking.
So sweet.
Then it was time to party at Mountaineer!
The details were very personalized to Jeordyn & Thad.
They even had Jack Daniels flavored cupcakes!
Their grand entrance:
And here’s their first dance. I love the dreaminess of this shot.
Jeordyn’s cousin was the maid of honor.
Thad’s brother told everyone of how committed and hard working his brother is.
Thad’s best friend told everyone of how lucky Thad is and how he hopes he can find a wife like Jeordyn someday.
The cake cutting got a little rowdy.
This shot communicates the swiftness with which they both moved. ๐
Jeordyn & her dad:
Thad & his mom:
With that, the dance floor was ready for some rug cuttin’!
This crowd was a party crowd; it was a very fun reception.
Wobble, baby!
Jeordyn also shared a special dance with her other dad.
Thad & his groomsman are close.
Jeordyn & her mom having fun on the dance floor:
Then came the garter and bouquet time. Jeordyn’s maid of honor fastened her garter to her leg with a rope and a padlock as a funny surprise for Thad. His facial expression was great.
What?!
Thad’s best man had the key. ๐ฎ
The garter was on a football!
Since his girlfriend had caught the bouquet, this guy worked extra hard to catch the garter so he could do . . .
THIS!
Celebratory cigars were had.
Jeordyn, I mustache you a question: how does it feel to be married? Pretty good, I bet. ๐
We stole them away for a few short moments for some end of the evening romantic photos.
