On Erin’s & Jared’s wedding day, when I went to meet the girls at Casal’s for some preparation photos, the weather was ominous. The gray, large clouds were looming; cold, misty rain was falling; and the wind was out of control. Â By the time of their ceremony, the sun was brilliant, the clouds were puffy and white, and there was joy in the air. It was beautiful & seemed meant to be. Just like Erin & Jared.
One day in 2009, Erin went to her great friend Trisha’s wedding. That same day in 2009, Jared went to his great friend Kevin’s wedding. Â It just so happened that Trisha’s wedding was Kevin’s wedding, too. Jared, being the lucky guy he is, met Erin that night. Â Three years later, Trisha was the matron of honor in Erin’s wedding, and Kevin was a groomsman in Jared’s wedding. It just so happens that Erin’s wedding was Jared’s wedding, too. 😉
I think they were having fun goofing around until five minutes before the photos prior to the ceremony and then slapping on their tuxedos getting ready for the wedding day.
Gorgeousness:
If you missed the blog about Erin’s and Jared’s fun engagement session go HERE. You’ll notice Erin’s love for a bright pop of color via shoes was not limited to her wedding day.
The ‘maids’ & flower girl’s flowers were colorful and vibrant. They were from The Flower Loft.
Erin and her best friends:
Jared is a sock man. 🙂
This was so cute. Erin and her daddy. She’s his only little girl, and I could tell this was a very proud (and a little sad) day for him.
The program girls did their job well and with style.
Father-son pep talk just prior to the ceremony.
Their beautiful ceremony took place in the barn at The Links at Firestone Farms.
I loved the paper lanterns. Here’s the barn with the wide angle lens.
She adores her groom (now husband!)
He totally popped his foot when they kissed. Priceless. It definitely made Erin smile, and that’s his job, right? 😀
The “Yay! You’re married!” hug.
The bride and her family:
Then we ventured around the property for some bride & groom creative shots.
Tom’s best man toast was really special. I adore when I can tell how much a best man truly cares for his best friend’s new wife; that’s when I know the groom has a keeper.
Oh, and the best man didn’t cry during the wedding ceremony at all…. (except throughout the entire thing- it was so cute).
Trisha’s toast was funny and sweet.
Aw, their cake topper looks just like their adorable dog.
Clarencedale Cake did the cupcake tower.
They have quite a fan club. 😉
Husband and wife dancing:
These ones had the time of their lives.
Erin and Jared carved out time from their reception and dedicated a dance to Erin’s parents. Isn’t that the sweetest gesture? They’re so happy.
There are no words…
Erin warned informed us this would likely occur. It was a riot.
Not very many people were having fun. 😛
We had an absolute blast with you, Erin & Jared. Thanks so much for sharing your day, for being amazing clients, and for trusting us with your wedding memories. Best wishes for a wonderful, lifelong marriage!
