We had an absolutely fabulous time with Megan and Jim on their wedding day! Megan was a laid back, fun bride and Jim shared our sarcastic sense of humor. They were married in the Rose Garden at Mill Creek Park, which always makes for stunning photographs. Their wedding reception was at the Davis Center, which also photographs nicely. Â Shall we get to the photos? 🙂
Megan’s family is good looking and were so kind to us.
Jim and his mom. So cute. 😉
Darling:
Megan and her maid of honor. The eggplant colored dress was so pretty!
Flower girls in tutus…you cannot go wrong with that. The adorable factor is almost too high.
Daddy and his only little girl on their walk down the “aisle.”
The moment he first saw his bride. It’s safe to say he’s very happy. 🙂
The ceremony:
There were tears…
…there was happiness…
…there were serious moments of reflection…
…there was adoration…
…there was extreme excitement…
…and there was the kiss:
The proud and celebratory families:
During our creative photography session with the bride and groom, we ventured around to different areas of Mill Creek Park. Jim is an avid runner and knew all of the nooks and crannies of the park. He is pretty much a rockstar in the Youngstown area running scene and the race director of the Panerathon (an awesome fundraiser for the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center (JACBCC) at St. Elizabeth Health Center, which delivers the most accurate prevention, early detection, diagnosis and support services available in an environment of compassionate and coordinated care. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month- wanted to give the fundraiser a shout out. Register for next year!) The Panerathon may or may not have been *cough* the same weekend as Megan’s and Jim’s wedding *cough*. Busy bees! They rocked it out, though!
So in love!
We stopped at Pioneer Pavilion for a few.
Couples who laugh together and can be silly together are the best couples…
On to the beautiful reception:
Clarencedale Cake did it again!
Megan was a gymnastics coach, and a ton of her gymnasts were in attendance. They were so in awe of how beautiful and princess-like Megan looked, and they all had stars in their eyes looking at Jim. All of those girls adore their coach and her husband. 🙂
Jim’s brother toasted the couple and mentioned how much he has always looked up to his big brother. It was a great toast.
First dance photos:
The father-daughter dance was very sweet.
The mother-son dance was touching, as well.
Lady killer!
Megan and Jim, we wish you the very best and thank you sincerely for trusting us with your wedding day memories!
