Erica & John Engagement Session | Beaver Creek State Park | East Liverpool, OH Engagement Photography

Erica & John are so very cute together! They’re fun, they like to joke, they smile almost nonstop, they love to ride the Harley together, and they have a lot of mutual friends that they like to chill with. That’s actually how these two met- they had mutual friends and ran into each other a few times. Erica didn’t like John at first. 😉 I asked them how they came together as a couple and started to date despite the fact that Erica wasn’t fond of John. John said, “She rode on the motorcycle with me and that was that.” 🙂

They like to hang out at Beaver Creek from time to time, as well, so they decided on having their engagement session there.

I kind of can’t stand their cuteness. 😀

You can’t even tell they were being attacked by swarms of mosquitos at this moment. HA!

Seriously, You Two?! Those smiles are too cute!

The light! So gorgeous!

John & Erica are casual and laid back so they readily changed their clothes to something a bit more “them.”

The sunlight in these shots was so glowy & perfect!

I’m sure you want to hear how these two got engaged, right? John works at a Christmas tree farm seasonally & Erica loves to come choose their tree each year. The year they got engaged was no different so she planned to come pick it out December 10. She was shopping with her sister all day & John was getting antsy because he wasn’t sure when she would arrive to the tree farm so he kept calling and asking her when she’d be there, which was really uncharacteristic for him. Erica thought he was acting pretty weird. When she got to the tree farm, she chose a tree, told John which one she wanted, and turned around. When she turned back around to look at him, he was down on one knee with a ring asking her to marry him. She was so surprised and taken aback that she stayed on the previous topic (the tree) and asked John, “Are you sure this is the tree we should get?” He said, “You should answer my question.” She, of course, said, “Yes!”

John got to incorporate his Harley Davidson motorcycle into the engagement session, a.k.a. his baby.

We shot a few naturally lit images and then we busted out the off-camera flashes.

Josh loves setting up shots with the off-camera flashes. The dynamic and dramatic look to the images is awesome and definitely fits with the cool vibe we were going for with the bike.Erica & John, we had a lot of fun getting to know you better during the engagement session & we know your wedding will be a beautiful day!
