Today we’re going to tell you the Top 3 Reasons NOT to Book with Us. WHAT?! Is that a typo? Nope. Please read on. 🙂

1. Do not choose us as your wedding photographers if you want someone to show up on your wedding day, take some decent photographs, and leave it at that. Since the beginning of this whole thing we call our photography business, we’ve gotten to know our couples, celebrated this amazing time in their lives with them, befriended them, and stayed in touch with them long after their wedding day. It’s simply not in our nature to treat this as a business transaction only. Yes, our couples are hiring us for a service and we take that very seriously & always go above & beyond, but this business is relational to us & always will be. So if all you want is some random person to snap pretty photos, we aren’t for you.
2. Do not choose us as your wedding photographers if you are drawn to photos with trendy Instagram-like filters. Photography is art and, therefore, is subjective. Photographers have different shooting styles & different editing styles & different ways in which we operate our businesses, which is great because different people like different things, right? Some photographers use an editing style that they love and their clients love, but many of those styles are fads. Fads change with the times. We believe classic & timeless is where it’s at for wedding photography! So we don’t use any strange “filters” when we edit our images. Our couples appreciate that their images have a timeless feel to them & look forward to sharing their wedding albums with future generations. Of course, hairstyles & fashion styles will always change throughout the years, but great quality images with true-to-life colors will bring the viewer right into the emotion & joy of the wedding day and provide a glimpse into the couple’s love story for generations to come. P.S. We aren’t saying there is anything wrong with those editing styles. If those are your jam, you do you, Boo! 😉

3. Do not choose us as your wedding photographers if wedding photography is not one of your top priorities on your wedding day. Life is too short to photograph couples who feel “meh” about their wedding photos! We want to photograph joyful couples who believe in the beauty of marriage, know that marriage is worthwhile, and view their wedding photography experience and their photographs as a valuable family heirloom that will increase in value as the years progress and as they delve deeper into their relationship, truly learn the meaning of being spouses, and create a legacy on this earth together. We do our best work when we collaborate with our couples to create photos that mean something to them as a couple & truly showcase their joy & love. That’s what we are passionate about & we want to meet & work with & become friends with you & your fiancé if that sounds like you! But. . . if photography is simply something you’re checking off the wedding planning checklist but aren’t particularly excited about, we’re not for you.
