When two people as fun & humorous as Bill & Shelby get married, you know you’re in for a fantastic day! These two are definitely two peas in a pod and are so very loved & adored by their friends & family. The vibe all day on their wedding day was brimming with genuine emotions & love. Shelby was FULL of smiles, laughs, jokes, and energy. Just wait until you see the way Bill looked at his bride- so dreamy! And Shelby’s first look with her dad was a tearjerker! There were so many special & amazing moments this past Saturday & it was truly a privilege to get to capture them for future generations to enjoy. We’ve said it many, many times, but we’re just going to keep saying it because it’s true. . . we have THE best clients in the entire world! 
I got to start off the day at the hotel with the bride & her bridesmaids (Courtyard Marriott in Canfield) photographing hair, makeup, and details! Shelby’s details were perfect for her & held lots of sentimental value. 
The Kate Spade sparkly sneakers were adorable & comfy! 
Christina from A Sense of Eden did the beautiful bride’s makeup. Her groom did request that she rock a ponytail and no makeup for their wedding day since he adores her usual all natural look, but she decided to get a bit fancier for the big day. 
Shelby. . . wow, girl! Skin, brows, just everything #goals! 
Shelby and her mama are seriously sooooo sweet together. They had me tearing up behind my lens all day! Marion from the Hair Gallery did Shelby’s hair for the wedding day & it looked stunning!
Josh was with Bill as he groomed it up that morning at their home.
That “oh my goodness, this is really my wedding day and I’m really a bride!” feeling. 
The bridesmaids’ reactions were priceless. This was a super fun group! And they truly love Shelby so much. They all took turns crying a little. 
Okay, so don’t say we didn’t warn you. . . Shelby’s first look with her dad- all the happy tears! 
That right there is a proud dad of his baby girl.
To continue on with the barrage of beautiful emotional moments. . . it was time for Shelby & Bill’s first look! We were eternally grateful for the break in the rainy weather that day. The sun was in full force during their scheduled time for their first look & it was magical.
Her beauty radiates from the inside out. She was glowing on her wedding day with joy & love. That might sound cheesy, but it’s the truth.
Bill bought all of his groomsmen suits for the wedding, which is such an awesome idea & great gift! And the flowers were looking fab, too. Green’s Floral Shop in Hubbard did a great job! 
These cuties were stinkin’ adorable all day! And Ethan had me absolutely cracking up quite a few times.
Ely is so precious! 
I actually used something that Ethan (the ring bearer) told me to get them to laugh so he should get the credit for that lol.
These guys were a trip! 
We can’t even get over those bright blue skies. The weather was crazy that day (like many Ohio days!), but this was the perfect break in the clouds & rain!
This is one of our favs of the whole day! It was really windy so we used it to our advantage.
Elegant String Quartet always does a great job. They played beautiful ceremony music & entertained with pretty melodies during cocktail hour.
The ceremony was at Drake’s Landing in Canfield, which was just a short drive from the hotel. It’s always convenient and less stressful to have things close together! Shelby and her dad both absolutely beamed the whole way down the aisle. I can see where she gets her sunny disposition & friendly demeanor because both of her parents are joyful & fun to be around! 
That wind, though! The guests were treated to nature’s air conditioning during the service under the tent’s cover.
The ceremony was full of wonderful advice, funny jokes, and loving glances. Their officiant, Chris Morgan, did a beautiful job.
The centerpieces & decor were stunning. Purple is always pretty!
They shared a romantic first dance with fun twirls & spins. Loved it!
Their ice cream cake was from Handel’s. The cookie table bakers were Butcher and the Baker, L&B Donuts, & Donna Marie Cortese. And they brought out cannoli after dinner, too. No one who wanted to indulge should’ve gone without dessert, that’s for sure! Delish!
And these people were a party crowd! They all had a great time & there are so many photos of a PACKED dance floor!
Sneaking out for a few minutes for sunset or twilight portraits is always a fabulous idea!
What a whirlwind of awesome Bill & Shelby’s day was! We’re so happy these two found one another in prison (lol- if you missed their engagement session blog you may be lost on that, but go see HERE)! Shelby & Bill, we wish you many years of joy, love, jokes, fun, shared interests, and adventure! Thank you again so much for choosing us to document the first day of your marriage! We’ve had a really great time getting to know you two!
