We’ve got an adorable fire station engagement session for you today! When Kristi & Josh told us they wanted to have some of their engagement photos taken at the fire station, we were pumped. It’s a fun & personal location since Josh is a firefighter & it’s somewhere different! We also got to take some photos on an outdoor hockey rink since these two love hockey. It was so much fun that they included their personal interests to them as a couple. We love that! And they are really affectionate & laugh together a lot so the engagement session was full of jokes, laughter, and happiness! We had a blast & can’t wait for the wedding day! 
We started out at Mill Creek Park & hit up a few locations there. It was cold so taking little breaks in our cars to warm up helped a lot with the weather challenges. Winter engagement sessions are beautiful & we had quite a few this year, but we have to plan them a little bit differently than sessions with warmer weather. It’s worth it! And snuggling close is way better in 30 degree weather than it is in 90 degree humid weather. . . just sayin! 
Their smiles are THE BEST! Like we said, they laugh together All.The.Time & it’s one of the best parts of being around them! And, yes, Kristi was freezing for a bit while we shot these ones with no coats. That pink POPS, though! 
These hockey ones were so dang cute. These two Penguins fans are adorbs. And they even got engaged in Pittsburgh by the big Christmas tree and ice skating rink! 
They were up for a face off just for fun.
Winter time is one of our favorite times to visit the Cinderella Bridge in Mill Creek Park.
Josh has a sweet & tender side with Kristi. 
And he makes her laugh. Even after just spending a little bit of time with them we can tell that he makes her heart happy.
Their little dance was completely unprompted by us. So cute.
And at the end of the session, we got to hang out at the fire station. It was a lot of fun & Kristi & I couldn’t stop quoting Friends. We seriously need to hang out more often & quote Friends nonstop until one of us runs out of material. It could take days. LOL.
In case you were wondering, yes, that helmet is very heavy.
Oh my goodness, Kristi & Josh. . . add us to the long list of people who cannot wait for your wedding day! It’s going to be so much fun & we are really looking forward to the happy day!
