Melinda & Jason Wedding | Hilliard Presbyterian Church | Goodale Park | Greek Orthodox Cathedral | Columbus, Ohio | Destination Wedding Photographers

Melinda & Jason’s wedding day was full of fun. We got to travel to the capital city to photograph it & Columbus did not disappoint. We loved their first look, their HUGE 29 person bridal party, and the way that their friends & family genuinely celebrated their love. Melinda & Jason met while attending Muskingum College & their fellow Muskies showed up to their reception to party to the fun playlist Jason created. Everything about the day was beautiful & we are so happy for these two & their new membership to the married club!
Melinda was STUNNING as a bride (no surprise there), but her little niece Alexa almost stole the show with her cuteness. . . almost.See? Stunning!Someone referred to Melinda’s eyelashes as angel wings, and I rather agree.Josh was with Jason & the guys & we forgive Jason for his love for Michigan football. Then it was time for the first look. . . yay!We love all of the visible & palpable emotion during first looks.Smokin’ hot couple, right?!And Melinda’s lifelong best friend, her cousin Erica, accompanied Melinda to the first look so they had a really quick bestie photo shoot.  How adorable! Then it was time for Melinda’s dad to see her as a bride. Their relationship is really special & their father-daughter first look was full of tears. The church was full of beautiful natural light.
We LOVE this family!Jason’s grandmother is ill so she unfortunately couldn’t make it to the wedding. Thankfully, we got the opportunity to stop and visit her at her home. We only stopped for a few minutes, but we immediately adored her spunky personality.Gorgeous ladies accented by lovely bouquets courtesy of Flowers on Orchard Lane.I can’t even handle how pretty she is. Looks like Jason’s a fan, too.The reception was elegant & classic.Bess’ Cakery made the cute cake.So classic & so much happiness.Jason shared a spotlight dance with his mother.Their slow dance turned into a fast dance to “Old Time Rock & Roll.” Photo op with the Muskies. And the rest of the night was super fun. . . everyone let loose & had a great time. The guests were stoked to be treated to late night snacks.Congratulations, Melinda & Jason! We wish you the very best in your marriage & may Melinda’s chosen college football team have more wins than Jason’s. 🙂 Thanks for allowing us to be part of your wedding day!
