Can you believe it’s September?! Where did August go? It definitely flew by for us- that’s for sure! Anyone else?
It’s September now, which is still the tail end of Summer, but it always triggers in us excitement for Fall. Not that we’re wishing away Summer by any means, but September sort of flips the Fall switch for us.
As I type this, it’s Canfield Fair time & next week will be the Columbiana Street Fair, which is a signal to the drifting away of Summer & ushering in of Fall. Doesn’t this time of year always seem to be humid & hot, though? We always associate our favorite fairs with sweaty weather as opposed to sweater weather.
Here are a few reasons we love Fall:
It’s our busiest time of year for engagement sessions & we LOVE photographing engagement sessions! 
While we’re talking Fall photos, Fall wedding photos are pretty great, too. 
Not to be too #basic, but we enjoy a pumpkin spice latte every now & then (although we’re both bigger peppermint mocha fans, to be honest).
Additionally, it’s a perfect time to cuddle up with your love & watch scary movies. Coincidentally, we’re shooting a thriller this October & we CAN’T WAIT to share more with you about that project soon! It’s not Menning Photographic- the wedding & portrait photographers who are shooting the film, but Menning Photographic Films (although MPF is Josh & Danielle, too- confusing enough?) Josh has been wanting to make an independent film so we decided to GO FOR IT! No more sitting around & talking about it. . . we’re doing it! 
We also really enjoy the scents of candles that come out in the Autumn. Sweet cinnamon pumpkin, pumpkin cupcake, pumpkin pecan waffle, marshmallow pumpkin latte- ALL THE PUMPKIN! 
Josh is also a pretty big candy corn fanatic. I’m pretty sure we blogged about that last Fall. And in this nonexhaustive list of our Fall favorites, Oktoberfest/pumpkin beer with cinnamon & sugar on the rim of the glass is a must. Also. . . flannel!

Football! Go Rebels, Buckeyes, & Browns! We got to take Tenley to her first Rebels football game last night & she liked it a lot. Check out our Facebook or Instagram for a snapshot.
Honeycrisp apples! ‘Nuff said!
Cider. . . Josh will drink a few gallons before Fall is finished.
