Korisa & Chris Wedding | New Waterford United Methodist Church | Spread Eagle Tavern | Hanoverton, OH | Youngstown, OH Wedding Photographers

Today on the blog is one of the most beautiful & fun wedding ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed. Korisa (“Chuck”) and Christopher (“Nugget”) got married at New Waterford United Methodist Church in a touching ceremony with very few dry eyes in attendance. Chuck & Nugget have known each other for a while, but were always just friends and never anything more. Finally, events in their lives led them to a point where it was time to try a go at dating. We’re so glad they did! They make each other happier than anyone in their lives has ever seen them & we’re so happy that we got to be a part of their wedding day! It was a gorgeous day; we couldn’t have asked for more lovely weather.
I love Chuck’s pretty, tea-length wedding gown! It looked fabulous on her.

Chuck helping her dad with his tie. 🙂

And it was a group effort to help Nugget get his tie on.

Caleb & Jada were the most adorable ring bearer and flower girl brother-sister duo!

Chris’ reaction to seeing his bride walk toward him down the aisle was full of love & adoration.

This is a beautiful church!

The officiant started off by saying, “Repeat after me, I, Chris, take you Korisa.” And Chris said, “I Chris, take you. . . Chuck.” 🙂 These two are so well-known by their nicknames that it seems strange to call them their given names. All of the guests got a great laugh out of it.

And the officiant said, “It is my pleasure to present to you, Mr. & Mrs. Nugget Walton.” 🙂

Lots of very happy hugs all around!Nugget’s uncle jokingly presented him with a box of tissues.Immediately after the ceremony, guests gathered for cupcakes in the church banquet hall. This was the sweetest & most laid-back wedding day we’ve ever photographed. We loved it!

Then Chuck & Nugget enjoyed a private dinner for two at Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton, Ohio.

Once their dinner was over, we had fun with some relaxed and pretty wedding day portraits at Hanover House & the area surrounding Spread Eagle Tavern. It was the golden hour, which is the perfect time for glowy light photos. We wish every wedding day could be this relaxed and that we could take bride & groom portraits during golden hour (the last couple of hours before sunset) for every wedding!Lots of past U.S. Presidents have stayed at Hanover House throughout the years. It was built in 1820.Gorgeous bride!Look how happy they are!

We found this field a few miles from Spread Eagle Tavern & it was just what Chuck wanted for some sunset portraits. 🙂How romantic! And we bid them farewell so they could enjoy their wedding night!Chuck & Nugget, we pray that your marriage will bring you joy & laughter throughout all of the years of your life! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
