Continuing in our 2013 Year-in-Review, we are highlighting cute kids at wedding receptions today. Josh & I love kids & they have a way of being attracted to our cameras when they’re on the dance floor at wedding receptions. They are proud of their dance moves, they have a ton of energy, & they love to be the center of attention. That makes a perfect match for fun photographs. Here’s a look back at some of the cutest kids at our 2013 wedding receptions!
Garrett, the bride & groom’s son had a long day of partying & took a snooze on Grandma’s lap at The Barn in Salem during this reception. What a sweetie! (And he has a little brother now . . . check out our Facebook page to see Gavin’s newborn photos).
This little guy worked up quite a sweat at this Winter wedding reception at The Salem Golf Club. He was wearing a little sweater, but got to change into this cute reindeer t-shirt. Kids are so lucky. 😉 We see quite a few of them get changed into their pajamas near the end of the reception. We wish we could, too, sometimes. Wedding days are fun, but exhausting! haha! 🙂
I love everything about this photo. She’s so lost in dancing that it doesn’t bother her a bit that she’s missing a lens to her awesome glasses. And the kids in the background are basically having the time of their lives. (This reception is at The Links at Firestone Farms . . . isn’t it gorgeous with uplighting?!)
This is the bride’s niece. Intense, no? 🙂 She and her brother, below, really know how to bust a move!
This was too funny. This little flower girl had a dance-off with him & totally whipped him. He couldn’t even get up off the dance floor! 😉 (This reception was at Antone’s).
She was quite a cutie.

The love this bride has for her nephews is unparallelled (she has four). Those lucky boys got to go to The Outer Banks and hang out in an amazing beach house for Aunt Elaina’s wedding day.

This has to be one of my favorite photos we’ve taken (and, let me tell you, we’ve taken thousands upon thousands). This little ring bearer had THE BEST reaction to dancing with the flower girl during the bridal party dance. Thought bubble: “She’s touching me!”
The niece of the bride was one of the three flower girls (her other two adorable nieces were the others). I’d say she had a great time dancing with her Aunt Abi at the wedding reception at The Links at Firestone Farms!
Kids have a wonderful time dancing & playing at wedding receptions & since we’re there to capture your entire day, we love shooting kids! <— That didn’t sound right, but you know what we meant. 😉
