For your viewing pleasure on the blog today: an engagement session with Christina & Craig. These are two genuinely kind people with smiley attitudes & laid back demeanors. They met due to a shared interest in running & hiking the trails of Mill Creek Park & they even got engaged on one of the trails. That’s why it was a perfect spot for their engagement session. They even brought along their friend Buddy the pug. 🙂 He’s a cutie!
You guys know how much we LOVE pugs! We have a seven-year-old pug, Norris, & another little brindle pug puppy soon to join our family! She’ll be ready to pick up in Cincinnati in two weeks! So we were really happy to get to meet Christina’s & Craig’s pug, Buddy. He’s also seven.

Buddy went to stay with his grandma for a little while after his modeling debut, and we humans met back up at the Silver Bridge in Mill Creek Park; the trail these two got engaged on is very near this bridge.

These two are adorable together. Their wedding will be a great day!

This bridge is a superridiculouslycrazybusy place almost all of the time so we were pleasantly surprised that there were no other photographers/subjects around on this particular afternoon. Not that we own the park (haha!) & we have a lot of fun photographer friends in the area that we love running into while shooting, but we do try to find less-traveled-by spots to shoot. That way, the session will be more intimate, we can have more fun, and we can be more creative. When we go to the bridge to shoot & there are five seniors posing in different spots, a family photo session attempting to take place with their little kids running into the street, and a runner coming through every five seconds, it’s a little less than peaceful, but we make it work if the couple is truly set on the “Cinderella Bridge.” After all, we want to make our clients happy! On this particular day, since we were hanging out on the bridge for awhile with it all to ourselves we were able to get some creative, different shots. 🙂
