Brielle and Josh are best friends who love spending time together enjoying one another’s hobbies. We got along with them great right away during our initial meeting with them; they both LOVE being outdoors just like we do & they’re dog people! Their furbabies Owen & Jersey were models during the session, too. We’re so excited to photograph their wedding in September 2014 at Snodes Restored Country Barn.
We took their engagement photos at Beaver Creek State Park, where they love to hang out, walk, and let the dogs swim together.

What gorgeous dogs! They got lots of pats and love from me. 🙂 And Josh got to hold the treats to bribe them to sit pretty.

Brielle’s maid of honor, Lindsey, her mom, and another of Brielle’s bridesmaid’s mom showed up at the engagement session and surprised them with a gift for the session.
It was a very pretty homemade quilt that they knew Brielle really wanted to include in the session. Brielle didn’t think she’d have enough time to make it, but she surprised her with it. 🙂 She was so touched. Embroidered on the quilt was “Brielle & Joshua, June 1, 2013,” which is the date that these two got engaged.
Speaking of Brielle & Josh getting engaged . . . he asked her while hiking in Mohican State Park.
Josh loves fishing and takes it seriously. He had a difficult time pretending to fish for the session. He’s more into the real thing. 🙂
