We met this fun and adorable couple in Pittsburgh. Jennifer and Zac have a long and wonderful history together, and a lot of their momentous occasions occurred in the Steel City. Engagement sessions are fun always, but they’re even better if the location the couple chooses is meaningful to their relationship.
When we got there, it threatened rain and sprinkled a bit so we took shelter in the Renaissance Hotel, which just so happens to be the location that Zac proposed to Jen. 🙂 I’ll tell you their romantic story a little later…
The skies stayed cloudy, which provided a cool, mysterious vibe, but the rain stayed away for the rest of the evening.
They’re ridiculously comfortable together. He makes her giggle.
So you’d like to hear about their proposal?
Well, the sweet and ever-thoughtful Jennifer was planning Zac’s surprise birthday party in his favorite city…Pittsburgh. Â Zac had been planning to propose, and he found out that Jennifer was planning this surprise for him. 🙂 Sneaky…
They’d always wanted to stay in the Renaissance during all of their outings to Pirates games. Because Zac knew that Jennifer was planning to surprise him for his birthday, he, in his words, “let her surprise him.” But Zac had an even bigger surprise for Jennifer. He got down on one knee on the balcony of their hotel room and asked her to make him the happiest man on the planet and be his wife. She (of course…hello, this is their engagement sesh blog :)) said yes, and their closest friends and family members were excitedly waiting for them nearby.  A beautiful fiancée was Zac’s best birthday present of his lifetime!
This little guy and a couple of his friends were more than happy to show off their skateboarding tricks for the camera.
I nominate them for the cutest couple award. Â We had a lot of laughs exploring the alleys and bridges of Pittsburgh for their engagement photo session.
Did I say “cutest couple?” Because, based upon this photo, I think I meant hottest.
The Pirates decided to set off some fireworks for Jennifer’s and Zac’s engagement session, and Styx kindly serenaded them from the stadium. 😉
We’re happy to be photographing their wedding in August 2013. We know it’ll be a spectacular one!
