What do we want to emphasize about Katie and Ben? The only way that we can think to describe them, though it sounds so cliche, is that they’re seriously perfect for each other. They’ve been together since Ben’s friend (and best man in their wedding) introduced them after meeting Katie at the gym. Ben patiently waited for Katie throughout her college years and while she was in law school. They had to do the long distance thing for a while, and couldn’t wait for the day to come when they could see each other on a daily basis. Each of them took turns traveling to each other during those years. With a love like theirs, the wait was oh-so-worth it!
The bride and her best friends and sister were beautified at Allure in Boardman, Ohio. I adored her dainty hairpiece and low, stylish updo.

The ladies stopped at the bride’s parents’ home for a lovely, pre-ceremony lunch. The pooches were dressed to the nines for Katie’s big day!
Katie’s grandma is probably the cutest I’ve ever seen. She is darling. This was the first time she saw Katie as a bride on her wedding day. She was so proud.
Her dress was absolutely stunning. This is such a sweet moment between the bride and her bridesmaid, Jenna. She was keeping Katie’s hands warm and they were talking about how the wedding day was really here.

She was giddily ecstatic the ENTIRE day. “Happy” just doesn’t describe it.
We stole them away and walked around Lisbon for some shots. Lots of people yelled their congratulations and admired the good lookin’ newlyweds!

We had a HOT March and a chilly April, Â but we were able to find some tulips to sneak in there since Katie said she wanted some flowers in her photos, if possible.
Their chemistry is undeniable.

The bridal party found us in the alley and provided some antics for the camera. Katie and Ben didn’t seem to notice anyone but each other, though. 🙂
Beautiful details of the day:
Laura, Katie’s sister, gave a sweet toast to the couple that mentioned their less-than-fortunate hairdos when they were growing up together.
Andy, the best man, told the touching story of Katie’s and Ben’s love throughout the years and how he admires that they are crazy for each other yet they’ve both managed to maintain a sense of self and their friendships have thrived alongside their relationship. His love for Katie and Ben shined through his lovely words.
Cake:
They had prepared a fun, cute slideshow of photos of them when they were young and throughout their relationship for their guests to enjoy during their first dance to “It’s Your Love.”
